Benny Moré Festival

The Benny Moré International Festival of Popular Music is held in Cienfuegos, honoring the musical legacy of the singer nicknamed the Barbarian of Rhythm. Held biennially, it brings together Cuban and international musicians for concerts, dance competitions and visual arts exhibitions. The festival celebrates son, mambo and Cuban popular music, the genres that made Benny Moré internationally famous.
