Beyond the Gates - Bergen Metal Fest

Beyond the Gates is held every summer in Bergen, Norway, with its main stage at USF Verftet, a former sardine cannery turned cultural venue, alongside other spaces such as Grieghallen and the club Stereo. Founded in 2012 as a successor to the Hole in the Sky festival, it is dedicated to extreme metal and draws an international crowd. Alongside the concerts, the program includes panel discussions, listening sessions and guided tours tied to the history of Norway's black metal scene.
