Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL

Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL takes place every Labor Day weekend in Pack Square Park, in downtown Asheville. Launched in the years after the pandemic, it brings funk and world music acts such as Lettuce, Cimafunk and Toubab Krewe to several stages alongside the local symphony orchestra. Admission is free, and the program pairs concerts with workshops and heritage trail tours covering the city's history.
