Borderline Fest

Borderline Fest was the first music festival organized in Giurgiu, a border city in southern Romania on the Danube. Its name reflects both the city's location on the frontier with Bulgaria and the mix of genres on stage: rock, electro, reggae and hip-hop, sometimes blended with traditional sounds. The event marked an early attempt to build a local music scene in a city not previously known for festivals.
