About
Founded in 1981 by local youths who gathered at the De Bosuil youth centre, Bospop now draws around 50,000 visitors over three days and three stages in Weert, in the Dutch province of Limburg. Its programming centres on rock, hard rock and progressive rock, and has hosted acts such as Deep Purple, Iron Maiden and ZZ Top.
