Brevard Music Center

Set on a 180-acre campus in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Brevard Music Center has combined a summer music school and concert festival since its founding in 1936 by James Christian Pfohl. More than 400 young musicians, from age 14 through post-college level, study there each summer alongside guest artists and perform a season of concerts spanning symphonic, chamber, jazz, opera and bluegrass music.
