About
Founded in 1992 out of a bet between friends from the Franches-Montagnes region, Chant du Gros is held each year in a field in Le Noirmont, in the Swiss canton of Jura, lent by its owner known as Gros Louis, after whom the festival is named. Held over three days in September, it mixes pop, rock, rap and French-language chanson, pairing international headliners with local acts.
