CIRKULUM

CIRKULUM is an international new circus and street theatre festival held in the Poruba district of Ostrava, known for its socialist-era SORELA architecture. It is one of the biggest festivals of its kind in the Czech Republic, blending contemporary circus, dance, music, mime and street theatre with performances staged in public space. Recent editions have taken place at the Gong hall, a multifunctional venue housed in a former industrial gasometer.
