Ciudad Emergente

Ciudad Emergente is a festival run by the city of Buenos Aires, now held in the Bosques de Palermo, showcasing emerging artists and new trends in Argentine urban culture. Launched in 2008 at the Centro Cultural Recoleta, it goes beyond music (mainly rock) to include film, literature, visual arts, technology and food. Admission is free, and the event draws hundreds of thousands of visitors, with bands selected from provinces across Argentina.
