Connecticut Sea Music Festival

Held in Essex, Connecticut, and organized by the Maritime Music and Tradition Society, this festival brings together sea shanty singers and performers of traditional maritime music. The program combines concerts, a symposium on the history of these repertoires and the Chantey Blast, a benefit evening of shanty singing.
