Contempopránea

The Contempopránea festival takes place in Don Benito (Badajoz), in Extremadura, around the Plaza de España and the FEVAL exhibition grounds. Founded in 1996, it was the first Spanish festival to adopt the indie label and has remained a key gathering for independent Spanish-language pop and rock ever since. The lineup blends established national acts with emerging artists, alongside food trucks and both covered and outdoor stages.
