Coro Summer Fest

Coro Summer Fest is held on family land tucked into the bush just north of Coromandel Town, usually on the second or third weekend of January. Running since 2015 and put on by Coro Sonic Lab, this deliberately small festival caps ticket numbers (around three hundred) to keep things intimate, with picnicking under the trees, a creek to swim in, and outdoor live music that builds through the evening. It is a relaxed family afternoon that turns into a proper dance party by night.
