Countdown Japan

Countdown Japan is held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba over several days spanning late December into the New Year. Running since 2003 and organized by Rockin'On Japan magazine, it brings together a huge lineup of Japanese rock, pop and alternative acts across multiple stages, culminating in a symbolic countdown to midnight on December 31. It has become a beloved way for Japanese fans to ring in the new year with live music.
