Coup d'Parquet

The Coup d'Parquet festival takes place every year in early November in the town center of Mamers, in the Sarthe, organized by the ParceQue association dedicated to traditional dance and music. The weekend combines Irish music sessions in local cafés, concerts, folk balls and fest-noz dancing, plus a ceili (Irish dance) and various events such as exhibitions and film screenings. It highlights jigs, reels and polkas in a lively, participatory atmosphere.
