Cratères Surfaces

An international street arts festival held every summer in Alès, organized by Le Cratère, the city's national theatre. Entirely free, it takes over the town centre (squares, the Gardon riverbanks, Colombier park, open-air theatres) for three days with street theatre, dance, circus, brass bands and percussion, alongside amplified music concerts. It also serves as a professional meeting point, drawing street arts programmers and performers from around the world.
