Crop Over Festival

The Crop Over Festival takes place in Bridgetown, Barbados, tracing its roots to 18th-century celebrations marking the end of the sugar cane harvest, before being revived as a national festival in 1974. It blends calypso, soca and traditional Bajan music across weeks of cultural events, building up to the costumed street parade of Grand Kadooment.
