Desert Trip

Desert Trip was held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, the same grounds as Coachella, spread across two weekends. Nicknamed "Oldchella" by the public, it brought together rock legends on a single bill, including the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Roger Waters and The Who. The event, which remained a one-off, was notable for the sheer stature of its lineup and for record grosses for a music festival.
