Deutsches Musikfest

Held every six years since 1989 by the Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Musikverbände, the Deutsches Musikfest brings together amateur musicians in Ulm and Neu Ulm, twin cities on the Danube, around wind band, fife and drum, and march music. The 2025 edition drew more than 20,000 musicians from 435 orchestras across over 500 events.
