DMZ Peace Train Music Festival

The DMZ Peace Train Music Festival takes place in Cheorwon County, close to the demilitarized zone separating the two Koreas, with the Goseokjeong pavilion as its main stage. Running since 2018, this free festival spans rock, indie rock, world music, punk and electronic and folk sounds, and also offers limited access events inside the DMZ itself, such as at Woljeong ri station. It carries a message of peace and reconciliation, using music to transcend political and ideological divides in a place steeped in history.
