Dominican Republic Jazz Festival

The Dominican Republic Jazz Festival lights up the country's north coast each year, from Cabarete and Sosúa to Puerto Plata and Santiago, with free open-air concerts. With over two decades of history, it has hosted Latin and international jazz figures such as Chuck Mangione, Ray Barretto and Ignacio Berroa, all set to a festive, colorful local atmosphere. The festival also runs an educational arm through the nonprofit FEDUJAZZ, offering music workshops to young people in the region.
