Donaufestival is held in Krems an der Donau, Lower Austria, and takes place over two spring weekends. Founded in 1988, it brings together music, performance, art, film and discourse, with an international programme of contemporary artistic positions. Around 80 artistic positions are presented over six days at the beginning of May in various venues across the town.
