East Fest

East Fest takes place in summer at the municipal beach of Mezőtúr in eastern Hungary, in a green, waterside setting. Launched in 2012, it grew into one of the region's major music events, blending pop, rock, hip-hop and electronic music from Hungarian acts and, from 2017 onward, occasional international headliners. Its rapid growth from a few thousand to tens of thousands of attendees made it a key fixture in eastern Hungary, though the festival has faced recent interruptions.
