Simerock

Simerock is held in Rovaniemi, in Finnish Lapland, on the banks of the Kemijoki river in early August. Billed as the world's northernmost rock festival, it brings together leading names from the Finnish music scene, spanning rock and metal, set against the Arctic landscape. Bands such as Sonata Arctica have performed there on more than one occasion.
