Echternach Music Festival

Founded in 1975, the Echternach International Festival brings classical music each spring to this small Luxembourg town, with concerts staged in the Basilica of St. Willibrord, the church of Sts. Peter and Paul, and, since 2008, the Trifolion concert hall. A jazz strand was added later, broadening the program beyond its classical core. Over the decades it has hosted internationally renowned performers including Yehudi Menuhin, Mstislav Rostropovich, Yo-Yo Ma and Jordi Savall.
