About
The Fährmannsfest has taken place in Hanover since 1983, at the confluence of the Ihme and Leine rivers, a riverside setting. Billed as the region's largest open-air alternative music festival, it brings together rock, punk and independent music across several stages, including one devoted to poetry and children's performances, whose area is free to enter.
