FAMPOP

FAMPOP, the Feira Avareense de Música Popular, is a competitive song festival devoted to Brazilian popular music (MPB), held annually in Avaré, São Paulo state. Open to composers and performers from across the country, it has helped launch artists now well known, such as Lenine and Chico César, and has run for over forty editions.
