Fastnet Maritime and Folk Festival

The Fastnet Maritime and Folk Festival takes place each summer in the harbour village of Ballydehob, West Cork, centred on sea shanties and traditional Irish and international folk music. Started in 2013 to recall the village's old sandboat trade, it brings together shanty singing, dance, a craft market and pub sessions, with a main stage set up on Ballydehob pier.
