Felabration

Felabration takes place in Lagos, Nigeria, at the New Afrika Shrine, usually in October. Created in 1998 by Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti in memory of her father Fela Kuti, it celebrates Afrobeat over a week of concerts, debates and exhibitions. Artists such as Femi Kuti, Davido and Mayorkun have performed there, keeping alive the musical and political legacy of Afrobeat's founder.
