FEMUA

FEMUA (the Anoumabo Urban Music Festival) takes place in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, historically centred in the Anoumabo neighbourhood with additional stages elsewhere in the city and country. Launched in 2008, it spotlights Afropop and African urban music, pairing Ivorian and pan-African stars with international guests. The festival is known for its strong social mission, funding the construction of schools with its proceeds.
