Fest Verão Paraíba

Fest Verão Paraíba takes place on Ponta de Campina beach in Cabedelo, on the northern coast of Paraíba state, created to replace Micaroa, the city's former off-season carnival. Held over several January weekends in a beachside arena, it brings together major names in forró, pagode and current northeastern Brazilian popular music. It has become the region's most anticipated summer event, drawing large crowds and boosting local tourism.
