Festi'vallées

Festi'vallées, the Festival of the 3 Valleys, brings together the wind band societies of the Azergues, Turdine, and Brévenne valleys in the Rhône department, including that of Poule-les-Écharmeaux, every first Sunday of July. Founded in 1939, it gathers several hundred brass and wind band musicians for a parade through the village streets followed by a joint concert. The event is hosted in rotation by one of the eight member societies, each taking a turn in its own commune.
