Festimad

Born in 1994 in independent Madrid venues, Festimad became one of Spain's pioneering large-scale alternative rock festivals, its early lineups featuring acts like The Cult and Rage Against the Machine. After a period as an open-air event in the Madrid region, it returned from 2009 onward to a format spread across several mid-sized concert venues. Alongside the music, the festival also runs parallel strands devoted to performance art, graffiti and film.
