About
The Festival Ars Viva de Música was held each July in Serra Negra, in São Paulo state, and was founded in 2007 by conductor and composer Sergio Chnee. Dedicated to classical music, it brought together orchestras from cities such as Campinas, Atibaia and São Paulo for concerts in this popular hot springs town. It later evolved into the winter festival Serra Negra In Concert, which carries on a free cultural program in the city.
