Festival Balélec

Held every May on the EPFL campus in Lausanne, Balelec grew out of the university's electrical engineering students' annual ball into a large student run open air festival. Several stages host electro, rock, rap, reggae and hip hop acts for thousands of attendees celebrating the end of exams. Run entirely by a student association backed by hundreds of volunteers, it turns the campus into a party ground for one night.
