Overview
About
This baroque music festival is held each year in Chédigny, a small village in Indre-et-Loire known for its rose gardens, with concerts spread across the church, the town hall and the streets of the village centre. It grew out of a single improvised concert in 2018 that drew a bigger crowd than expected, and now fills a whole weekend with performances by specialist ensembles, workshops, talks and a Renaissance-and-baroque ball open to everyone. The relaxed village atmosphere, with outdoor food stalls, sits alongside a genuinely demanding baroque repertoire performed by well-regarded period ensembles.
