Festival Crescendo has taken place since 1999 on the Esplanade du Conchié in Saint Palais sur Mer, on the Atlantic coast near Royan. Dedicated to progressive music, from progressive rock to progressive metal and psychedelic rock, it books artists from several continents and is notable for its free admission, run by a volunteer association.
