About
Founded in 1968, this festival runs for eleven days each summer across roughly ten venues in downtown Quebec City, including the Plains of Abraham. Its main stage, the largest outdoor stage in Canada, can hold up to 100,000 people and the festival stages more than 250 concerts spanning rock, pop, hip hop, jazz, electronic music and world music. It ranks among the country's biggest outdoor music festivals by attendance.
