The Festival dalmatinskih klapa Omiš is dedicated to klapa, the traditional a cappella polyphonic singing of Dalmatia inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list. Founded in the 1960s, it takes place in the coastal town of Omiš, notably on Saint Michael's square, bringing together women's, men's and mixed ensembles through selection evenings and a final.
