Festival de Bourg-Madame

The Festival de Bourg-Madame, also known as the Festival d'Hix, takes place in the small church of Hix near Bourg-Madame in the Cerdagne region, an intimate venue seating around 150. Originally a classical music festival, it has broadened over the years to include jazz, tango and flamenco while keeping a strong nod to Johann Sebastian Bach. It has hosted recognised performers such as the Quatuor Parisii and the Trio Wanderer, in a setting where audience and artists sit close together.
