Festival de Inverno Bahia

Held every year in August in Vitória da Conquista, in the interior of Bahia state, this festival brings several nights of concerts to the Parque de Exposições Teopompo de Almeida. The lineup blends forró, axé, pagode, sertanejo and Brazilian pop, featuring popular artists from the Northeast and beyond. Over the years it has grown into one of the largest music events in the interior of Brazil's Northeast, drawing huge nightly crowds from across the region.
