Festival de Inverno de Garanhuns

The Festival de Inverno de Garanhuns (FIG) is held every July in Garanhuns, in Brazil's Pernambuco state, centered on Praça Mestre Dominguinhos and spread across some twenty stages around town. Billed as the largest multicultural festival in Latin America, it blends forró, rock, MPB, brega, samba and trap alongside theater, film and dance. Its free programming brings together local performers and national headliners in a festive, community atmosphere.
