Festival de Jazz de Arequipa

Held in Arequipa since 2017 by Punto Música Conectando a la Gente to mark International Jazz Day, this festival takes place at the Centro de las Artes of Universidad Católica San Pablo and the Teatro Arequepay. It brings together local, national and international musicians, past editions have featured artists from England, Israel, Cuba, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador, offering free concerts, workshops and masterclasses. It has grown into a key gathering for jazz and improvised music in southern Peru.
