Festival de Jazz de Santo Domingo

Organized by Casa de Teatro in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone in the Dominican Republic, this jazz festival dates back to 2000 and stages its concerts on Thursdays from June through July. It blends jazz standards, improvisation and Dominican and Caribbean rhythms, bringing together Dominican, Cuban, French and Spanish musicians. Supported in part by the French and Spanish embassies, it has become a summer fixture of jazz in the capital.
