Festival de l'Imaginaire

Founded in 1997 by the Maison des Cultures du Monde, the Festival de l'Imaginaire takes place every spring in Paris and neighboring towns such as Aubervilliers, Montreuil and Marseille. Devoted to traditional music, dance and ritual performance from around the world, it brings together master practitioners of ancestral traditions and emerging young artists, offering a rare meeting point between intangible heritage and contemporary creation.
