Festival de la Décima Guillermo Cházaro Lagos

Held at the Museo Nacional de Culturas Populares in Mexico City, this festival is devoted to the decima, an improvised sung poetry form, and to son jarocho music from the Sotavento region of Veracruz. It brings together versadores and traditional groups from Veracruz, Oaxaca, Guerrero and the capital, alongside regional crafts and food. Admission is free.
