Festival de Música e Artes Olodum

The Festival de Música e Artes Olodum takes place in the Pelourinho, Salvador de Bahia's historic center, organized by the Afro-Brazilian bloco Olodum. Regarded as one of the largest Afro-Latin American music gatherings run by a civil organization, it celebrates Afro-Brazilian music through concerts, performances and cultural exhibitions. Each edition honors pioneering Black women in Brazilian music and pairs the artistic program with educational workshops, turning the Pelourinho into a showcase for ancestral heritage and contemporary creativity.
