Festival De Música Vallenata en Guitarras

The Festival de Música Vallenata en Guitarras is the main celebration of the municipality of Agustín Codazzi, in Colombia's Cesar department, and one of the country's most recognized vallenato events, acknowledged by the Ministry of Culture. Held every year in mid-August, it spotlights vallenato performed on guitar trios (in paseo and merengue styles), with competitions across age and skill categories drawing large nightly crowds.
