Festival des Andalousies Atlantiques

The Festival des Andalousies Atlantiques takes place every autumn in the medina of Essaouira, on Morocco's Atlantic coast. Founded in 2003, it celebrates the dialogue between the musical heritages of Morocco, Andalusia and Europe, with around twenty concerts blending Andalusian music, flamenco and contemporary works. The festival also includes talks, debates and exhibitions exploring the region's shared Jewish, Muslim and Christian heritage.
