Festival des Autochtones

The Festival des Autochtones takes place each spring in Coësmes and several neighbouring towns in Ille-et-Vilaine (Retiers, Martigné-Ferchaud, Janzé). Launched in 2009 to showcase local talent, it spreads blues, chanson, rock, pop, folk and world music performances across multiple dates, alongside street arts, poetry, comedy and magic. Run by a local association, it puts the emphasis on homegrown artists rather than national headliners.
