About
Founded in 1975 by the folk club De Zon, Festival Dranouter grew into the largest folk music festival in Europe, while broadening its lineup to other genres over the decades. It takes place in the village of Dranouter, at the foot of Kemmelberg hill in West Flanders, drawing around 55,000 festivalgoers each edition, with on-site camping.
